Logos used to take days, even weeks to design, but now AI can create one in a few minutes. The right AI logo generating tool can save you a lot of time and money.
The wrong one can give you a generic slop that nobody will remember.
I tested the best AI logo makers. I’m going to show you which ones are actually able to deliver quality designs and which ones you might want to avoid.
Every business needs a logo. You want your logo to tell the story of who you are in a few seconds without screaming, “I made this in 5 minutes.“
Hiring an actual designer can cost thousands of dollars. Honestly, not everybody has time or money for that. That’s where AI logo generators come in.
A good AI logo generator should pass all of these tests:
- Easy to use.
- Customizable. I don’t want AI to just feed me a logo that I cannot change.
- The quality of the logo.
- The price should make sense.
Tool Number 1: Logo Diffusion
What I love about it is that they have a bunch of staff picks right here on the homepage. If you feel like any logo from here catches your eye, you can just click use prompt.

Estimated wait time is around 30 seconds. We’re going to roleplay as a business that is selling audio equipment called Audio Kings. Cool thing about it is that you can just write in natural language: “Logo of the brand called Audio Kings.
We are selling music equipment.” You just have to click on enhance prompt and the prompt will be enhanced with AI. We have our first sketches. A lion with a crown on its head and a pair of headphones. This is very good.

Logo Diffusion also has an image to logo feature. We’re going to use the logo that we just generated and give it a prompt such as “turn this into a logo that I can engrave.”

You can basically vectorize your logo, and that’s the highest quality you can get.
- Ease of use: I would give it a 9 out of 10.
- Customizable: I would give it an 8 out of 10.
- Quality of the logo: That gets a 10 out of 10. You cannot do better than this.
- Pricing: I got 1,000 credits for $24. It cost you $24 to do whatever I did in this video a thousand times. That’s clearly a 10 out of 10.
Total Score: 37 out of 40.
Tool Number 2: Logo Creator AI
It looks pretty simplistic compared to the first one. We don’t have any kind of dashboards. If I click on studio, it just tells me that here are your logos, nothing else.

Let’s actually create a logo. Step number one, modern. Step number two, choose an object. Let’s write lion. Number of logos, let’s go with two. Oh, you have zero credits remaining. I didn’t even start it. Let’s buy some credits. 15 credits for $10.
This is what we paid like $2 for. And this is our second option, which doesn’t look any better. There’s no way for us to edit these logos. This is really bad.
- Ease of use: I’m going to give it a 4.
- Customizable: I would give it a minus if I could, but zero is the minimum score.
- Quality of the logo: I would just give it a 1 out of 10.
- Pricing: These logos cost me like $1. Much lower quality at a much more expensive price. So, we’re going to give it a score of 3.
Total Score: 8 out of 40.
Tool Number 3: Design.com
Design.com is trying to be some kind of a Canva. I’m more interested in the logo design and AI logo generator than anything else on this website.
It is going to generate close to 10,000 logos. This is a pretty cool place to get inspired for your logo. It will always give you 9,600 logo designs.
You just need to filter it by your preferred keywords. However, this doesn’t have any actual AI capabilities.

We’re going to give it another chance by checking out the AI logo generator. I gave it a description of my business and it’s doing the exact same thing.
This is not AI generated. They are suggesting us some AI text for our logo which I find pretty weird because you know what text you want on your logo and by definition this feature is 100% useless.

And if you want to download it, they’re asking you for $15. With $15, I can actually get a custom logo from Fiverr. This would be the definition of AI slop.
- Ease of use: It gets an 8 out of 10.
- Customizable: Very, very small number of features. We’re just going to give it a 2 out of 10.
- Quality of the logo: I mean, if you dig deep enough, you’re going to eventually find something that you like. So, I’m going to give it a 5 out of 10.
- Pricing: This is the lowest value possible. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to give it a 0.
Total Score: 15 out of 40.
Tool Number 4: Logoai.com
There’s a big blue button here that says, “Let’s make a logo.” From what I see, it’s the same story as design.com. They just threw a bunch of logos at us.
They do have a search feature. Let’s just write lion.
It’s asking me to go through the same exact steps as I did before, which basically yields the same exact results. Very, very little customizable options.

- Ease of use: It was pretty confusing to use. That’s why I’m going to give it a 6.
- Customizable: I would give it a 5 out of 10.
- Quality of the logo: Eventually, if you dig long enough, you are going to find something that resembles something that you might like. So, let’s go with the same score of 5.
- Pricing: It ranges from $29 to $99. It’s basically a pay-to-play because for $29 you’re only getting an 800 by 600. This is the new undisputed king for the pricing in the worst sense.
Total Score: 16 out of 40.

Tool Number 5: Looka
Next up, we have Looka, which lets us use their AI-powered platform to design a logo. I’m very curious about that because so far only one single tool actually uses AI.
Pick some logos that you like. Pick some colors that you like (learn more about
Color Psychology to choose the right vibe). This looks more like a kindergarten admission test.

Pick a logo to customize. Oh, it’s the same thing. They’re going to load a thousand logos. It seems like all of these platforms work on the same basis, which is pretty weird cause all of them promise to use AI, but their AI capabilities are minimal.
The quality of the logo is very low. It seems like this is the same exact thing, but with more attention to details and close to zero AI capabilities.

- Ease of use: Let’s go with a 7.
- Customizable: Yes and no, but definitely no AI involved. So, let’s go with a 6.
- Quality of the logo: Same exact story as the previous two. We’re going to give them a 5.
- Pricing: Basic logo, $20 one time at low resolution. None of these tools actually compared to Logo Diffusion for pricing, so we’re going to give them a 0 as well.
Total Score: 18 out of 40.
Conclusion

Logo Diffusion is the clear winner with an almost perfect score of 37 out of 40. Some of these other tools such as Looka are good, but they have nowhere near the AI capabilities of Logo Diffusion.
If you advertise yourself as being an AI logo generator, your AI capabilities should be off the charts.
The other tools are not bad, but their biggest downsides are, first of all, there’s almost no AI involved in there, and second of all, the pricing.
You just saw me spend like 20 bucks on Logo Diffusion. And with this money, I could create at least 100 good logos. These other tools, besides the fact that they do not have any kind of AI involved, they are very expensive.
